(Scroll down for Info on the 5K, 10K and Kids' Fun Run on Sun. May 12th.)

Bib pickup is on Friday May 10th, noon-8pm at the Inn at Jim Thorpe 24 Broadway.

Bib Mailing: Bibs went out Monday April 29th. If you signed up for bib mailing, you should receive your bib no later than Friday May 3rd. If you do not receive your bib by Friday May 3rd, please e-mail info@runegades.com.
If you cannot remember if you signed up for packet mailing, visit www.runsignup.com. Click on your profile. Find the JTARF and click on "manage my registration." If you signed up for packet mailing, you will see that listed in your registration details.

Runners who are arriving from out of town will park in the main race lot at Mauch Chunk Lake Park. 625 Lentz Trail, Jim Thorpe, PA. Because all runners will take a shuttle to the start, we ask that you park by 7:00 am.

Parking will require a parking pass. If you pre-purchased a parking pass, you will get it with your bib. If you did not purchase a parking pass, you can still park at Mauch Chunk Lake Park for $5. Please try to bring exact change.

There is no parking at the starting area. Runners who are not spending Friday night in downtown Jim Thorpe, have two options for getting to the starting area:

1. Have a friend drop you off at the Flagstaff Mountain Overlook, 459 Flagstaff Road, Jim Thorpe PA NO LATER THAN 7:15.
2. Arrive by 7:00 am in a car that parks at Mauch Chunk Lake Park, 625 Lentz Trail, Jim Thorpe PA. A free shuttle service will then take you to the starting area.
If you are spending Friday night in downtown Jim Thorpe, a free shuttle will leave from Hazard Square at some point between 7:15 and 7:30 am to take runners to the starting area.

Spectators will not be allowed to take the shuttle to the starting area. Spectators who arrive with runners at Mauch Chunk Lake Park can remain in the park and wait for their runners to  pass through (miles 6-8). They then can hop on one of our free shuttles from MCLP to the finish area in Kemmerer Park to join their runners there. Getting to the finish area requires walking up stairs or up a steep hill from the shuttle stop at Hazard Square.

Spectators who do not arrive with runners or who drop runners off, cannot park in Mauch Chunk Lake Park UNLESS they have their runner’s parking pass. Instead, they can park in the Carbon County Municipal Lot for $10. From this lot, spectators will have to walk about a tenth of a mile up a steep hill to get to the finish area at Kemmerer Park.

The finish line is about a tenth of a mile uphill from the finish area. Spectators are welcome to scale the hill to wait for their runners.

Post-Race Return to Parking: Regularly, between 10 am and 1 pm, shuttles will leave Hazard Square (near the finish area) to take runners and spectators back to the parking area at Mauch Chunk Lake.

Restrooms: Portable toilets will be available at the starting area, finish area and at miles 2 and 11. Restrooms will be available throughout Mauch Chunk Lake Park from miles 6-8.

Water Stations: Will be available at roughly 2-mile intervals throughout the course.

T-shirts: If your packet did not include a T-shirt, you signed up after our April 15th T-shirt deadline. We may have extras at the finish area for those who missed the deadline.

Awards Ceremony: Will start between 10:15 and 10:30 am at Kemmerer Park.

Bag Check: Unfortunately, due to insurance company concerns and Carbon County restrictions, we cannot provide a bag check.

Photos: Photos for both days will be taken by Pat Hendrick Photography. Thanks to our photo sponsor, Muggles’ Mug, participants will be able to download all photos for free. You’ll receive an e-mail a day or two after the event when they are ready.

Sunday May 12th (5K and 10K)
